EU4ADVICE

Short food supply chains (SFSCs) serve as tools for both producers and consumers to achieve better positions within the value chain, enhancing trust, transparency, and the quality and safety of food.
The EU4Advice project aims to strengthen advisory services related to SFSCs for value chain actors, supporting them in making their practices more economically, socially, and environmentally sustainable. It also seeks to connect SFSC advisors across the 27 EU Member States into a common network and to integrate SFSC-related advisory services, tools, and content into national Agricultural Knowledge and Innovation Systems (AKIS).

  • Providing the foundations and structures necessary for effective capacity building of SFSC actors through seamless knowledge transfer
  • Establishing a Living Lab for SFSC advisory and knowledge transfer at the national level
  • Creating an SFSC advisory network at both national and European Union levels
  • Developing policy recommendations to support the development of SFSCs
